The Artist Agrees to the following Terms and Conditions

- The Artist will enter their minimum performance fee at a venue for a 3 hour playing time block. The artist may change this figure up or down by logging into the platform or requesting via an email to the Groopy’s team to change on their behalf.
- The Artist understand that gigs are being secured through targeted Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in designated areas, and that the cost of finding the gigs is paid for by Groopy’s Management.
- The Artist accepts that Groopy’s Agency will quote a flat 20% above the Artist’s Minimum Acceptable Gig Fee which will assist in funding the SEO and other platform costs.
- The Customer will pay a 20% deposit to secure the gig, and this will be held by Groopy’s as it represents their Agency Fee.
- The Customer will pay the 80% balance (which is equivalent to the Artists Minimum Gig Fee) within 14 days of the performance. Groopy’s will forward that fee automatically to the Artist upon payment.
- The Artist agrees if there are other performers to pay (eg a band) then the Artist will distribute those funds internally to the band on the agreed splits in that band. Groopy’s will therefor only be making one full payment to one Artist nominated bank account.
- If the Artist ticks the box and agrees to introduce new Artists to the Groopy’s platform and that new artist is booked, then the introducing Artist will be paid 10% of the booking fee on the first gig, then 5% on every other gig for the first 12 months.
Cancellation Policy
- If the Customer Cancels the Booking within 14 days of the event, the Customer agrees to forfeit 50% of the total fee. Groopy’s will return the remaining 50% to the Customer within 7 days of the Cancellation to the bank account the Booking was made from, or other nominated bank account.
- The Artist agrees to pay back to Groop’s Agency 40% of the payment to be refunded to the Customer. Groopys will contribute 10% ensuring the 50% refund goes to the Customer cancelling within 14 days of the Performance Date.
Playing Times and Performance
- The Artist will be given the name and contact details for the Host upon Booking, and will liaise directly with the Host on all matters specific to the gig, only escalating matters to the Groopy’s Team if a problem of special request arises.
- The Customer will set aside an area for the Artist to perform that is under cover with power supply in the vicinity.
- The Artist booked will arrive a minimum of one hour before the time allocated to commence performing, and will cause the minimum amount of intrusion on the guests at the function.
- The Artist will provide their own PA system, lighting where required, musical instruments and will need to conduct a sound check before playing live. Artists will do their best at all times to arrive early and sound check where possible before guests arrive.
- The Artist if required by a venue will provide evidence that equipment has been tested and tagged in accordance with the venues policies.
- The Artist agrees to be courteous to Host and leave the premises quietly after completion of their performance.
- The Artist is booked for a 3 hour block for the quoted price and will finish performing 3 hours after the start of the performance, irrespective of Customer speeches etc running over time.
- The Artist is under no obligation to play for longer than the 3 hour block for which they are paid. If the Host or other people agree to pay extra cash for more songs, then this is at the Artists discretion. Any extra cash incentives received on the night are retained 100% by the Artist for reward for a gig well played.
- The Artist agrees not to solicit gigs directly with a venue or private customer after the initial booking. The Artist agrees if contacted directly by a venue or private customer to redirect the next booking via the Groopy’s. The Artist understands that gigs book directly with a client who has already booked them could have them removed from the Groopy’s platform.
