Retro Revolution is John Grant who has played every size and variation of clubs, parties, weddings, corporate events, gala opening nights as well as supporting numerous live bands for over 30 years.

Having started his career in some of Melbourne’s most famous and best known nightclubs from the 80’s and 90’s including Chasers, Inflation, the Underground, ZuZu’s and The Metro, John brings the original and authentic ‘retro’ experience to any event. Coupled with the best music from the noughties up to now always makes for an incredible musical journey at any event.

Somewhere between DanceFM and TripleJJJ, a genuine love of all genres of music from the last 7 decades combined with a unique cutting edge laser light show always delivers a truly memorable event.

John’s passion for what he does is simple and has never changed… “Every event… no matter how big or how small… is someone’s special day. My role as the DJ is to make that special day as truly memorable as I can”.

John is also very passionate about being able to support for any worthwhile charitable cause. He actively supports the “Breast Friends” cancer fundraising group and the “Go Girls” Foundation.
